Sometimes it can be reassuring to hear about the experience of others. Here is a small sample of testimonials / success stories from just a few of our students.
Feel free to contact us for additional references. If you are a current student…We would love to hear your story!
We first came to Veneration in July of 2013 to try the kids’ bjj camp. The boys fell in love with Jiu Jitsu. Then in August of 2014 I stepped on the mats. We made it a family affair!

“Community (n): 2) a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals” (Oxford English Dictionary). I think it’s difficult to find real community these days. Too often, the loss of connection to a real community manifests itself in self-destructive behaviors. Too often, the “communities” people belong to are imagined (e.g., online, Facebook) or so large that membership exists only in the abstract (e.g., politics). Outside of family, most people today do not know the rewards of belonging to a real community. Trust, friendship, and the mutual pursuit of common goals define what we do at VBJJ, and that makes our community as real as it gets.
